New Expressway Construction in Citrus County Toward Tampa
The major expressway project in Citrus County is part of the Suncoast Parkway 2 extension, a multi-phase effort to connect the Tampa Bay area with Crystal River and beyond. The current work is Phase 3A, which will add about 5.5 miles of four-lane tolled roadway from W. Norvell Bryant Highway (CR 486) to CR 495 in Citrus County Florida’s Turnpike.
