Title: Self Portrait of the Artist at age 34
Medium: oil on canvas attached to board
Date: circa late 19th/early 20th century
Description: An oleograph reproduction, oil on canvas attached to board, after Rembrandt depicting Self Portrait of the Artist at age 34. The sitter is depicted in a bust length format facing the viewer in 17th century costume. The painting is housed in a wood, composition matter (molded) and gilt overlay frame in the traditional style of the late 19th/early 20th century. The work of art and its frame are typical of the late 19th century Baroque revival in art.
Condition: Based on the photographs provided by the client, the piece is in excellent condition consistent with age and wear.
