School is starting back and The City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department will be hosting Marion County Public School Days at the Fort King National Historic Landmark, 3925 E Fort King St., Saturdays, Sept. 8 and 22 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.. This is educational fun for the whole family, and a great time to enjoy the Florida autumn weather. These family-friendly events will include demonstrations of period camping, cooking, tours, historical programming and more. Admission is FREE and open to the public. So come on out and enjoy a little bit of Ocala’s history with us!
