This 1963 Plymouth Fury Convertible is a ground up nut and bolt restoration showing 2652 miles since the restoration. The engine bay has been fitted with a 426 max wedge engine with an unconventional look under the hood. While the orange valve covers with the 426 Super Stock displacement decals are here, there is a large open element air cleaner over the carburetor in place of the factory crossram layout, and quality Thorley headers in place of the massive iron factory manifolds. Careful detailing allows for air conditioning via a black Vintage air set up. It has Mopar electronic ignition, a push button A727 Torqueflite auto transmission and an 8 3/4 differential with Sure Grip 3.23 gears, and upgraded power brakes as well. Painted red with a white top and red interior, there is a custom dual cup-holder console, cleaned up dash fascia and aftermarket stereo, but the dash cluster retains the unique to 1963 lettering font, the two-tone seats still host the new for 1963 Plymouth logo. The car’s stainless and chrome items were replaced and refinished to the highest standards.
