First Friday Art Walk is back For March!

Art Walk is a free event and takes place the Friday of each month from September through May. Located within Ocala’s historic downtown, available are free family art activities ( by the Appleton Museum of Art, Painting with a Twist, Marion County Public Library, Karate America Ocala, Animis Foundation and the Discovery Center. ) , extended shopping hours for the downtown shops, and live exhibits from local artists. Get yourself a portrait done by any of our local artisits, and support them by buying pieces of their art from them! These activities will be located at Ocala Homes and Farms Realty located at 108 E Fort King St.

The First Friday Art Walk returns to downtown Ocala Friday, March  2nd  from 6 to 9 p.m. and will include the following special performances and activities:

 

In the early evening from 6pm to 9pm, there will be performances by Stephen Lopez on the main event stage located at the downtown square near the gazebo.

Performances by West Port High School’s MCCA ( Marion County Center for the Arts ) Dance Program, they will be performing contemporary style dance pieces.

Local artists will be working throughout this event creating artwork, portraits and caricature drawings on-site. Additionally the Cario Dancers will be performing Belly Dancing routines once again the the First Friday Art Walk!
